The ACS Intermediate Redshift Cluster Survey is an ongoing project to study the properties and evolution of galaxy clusters near redshift unity with the Wide Field Channel of the Advanced Camera for Surveys on the Hubble Space Telescope. The survey includes both X-ray and optically selected galaxy clusters in the redshift range z=0.8 to z=1.3. We present our observations of the first 8 clusters in this survey and summarize some preliminary results on the color-magnitude, morphology-density, fundamental plane, and other relations This research is supported by NASA grant NAG5-7697.
