Observing Massive Galaxies at high-redshift with the Gemini Deep Deep Survey
Karl Glazebrook
The Gemini Deep Deep Survey is an IR selected spectroscopic survey for
massive galaxies with reasonable completeness to z=2 and extensive ACS
imaging. We find an abundance of massive galaxies, both red/quiescent
objects similar to local ellipticals and equally abundant massive
star-forming galaxies which are absent in local samples. I report on
recent results on the evolving mass density of galaxies over 1
