Probing Decisive Answers to Dark Energy Questions from
Cosmic Complementarity and Lensing Tomography
Mustapha Ishak--Boushaki
I will present constraints on dark energy parameters from
currently available data and projected constraints from
several ongoing and future CMB experiments (WMAP, ACT, PLANCK),
Supernovae of type Ia surveys, and various Weak Lensing surveys.
In this analysis, I look in particular for combinations that will
bring the uncertainties to a level of precision tight enough
(a few percent) to answer decisively some of the dark energy
questions. Several parameterizations of dark energy are explored.
I will show in particular how weak lensing tomography can
add key improvements to the constraints. Finally, I will discuss
the need for constraining dark energy using new consistency tests
in addition to the equation of state.
